running rich.......

normally caused by less air getting through to the point of combustion...

For example, the AFM will be telling the ECU how much air is expected, the ECU will add fuel for this amount of air. If air escapes in the induction track somewhere you will obviously have a problem

naa the cat's still on and I know u get eggy kinda smell from that, lol! Just the fumes from the exhaust smell strong, it aint burning oil and I changed the oil a week ago and its not burnt any, only prob I have is dodgy idle, sounds like its mis-firing a wee bit... any clues?! As for the charcoal canister.. wtf?
To describe the smell....hmmm...basically like a strong petrol smell..

could be many things, but if your engine management light isn't on, then i would suggest there is an air leak somewhere.. check all the piping to the throttle body

the big fat 'hoover' style pipe? about 3 inch diameter? it goes from air box right down to throttle body and back up to ICV?!
