as above, just installed new one of these, set to slave, slave connector etc.. comp recognised it fine, and installed it.. but when i go to my comp or try save etc.. there is no other drive listed except for the normal original one, any idea's help?

Control Panel/Administritive Tools/Computer managment/Disk Management - then right click and format the new drive

go to computer managment and set it up in there.
runing a Bigg disk as a slave can slow yer computer down. i had a 160GB as a slave the the comp was dogered slow. reconfiged it as master and put the other one as slave and reinstalled windows and shes humming along nicely now.

fdisk is only for fat32 not ntfs
