any one know if there is a program for 2000 that can be used like remote desk top?
I know you can get a client version but i need a client and server.
like in XP but for 2k.

yeah use VNC, prehaps play with the connection settings so it doesnt lag.
and its geek not nerd.

alright then it isnt the connections being a problem.
though saying that, you could have the biggest connection in the world but still be getting traffic shaped somewhere !
Like i said changing the settings in VNC connections has given good results, maybe the systems you are logging into are slow?
Theres always a faster way, the command line

vnc is shocking, i suffered the same things and spent a good few days pissing around with it. Whats worse is that i tried it on a computer, directly connected to a NIC on my PC (ie: nic to nic) and it was still slow
Remote Admin is pretty good mate and i can say the same with remotely anywhere. Although PC Anywhere is about the best, not free though...but im sure you can sort that out
