Been in 1 or 2 and quite like them. Like the 3 door hatchback too.

I agree about the Police being everywhere.
Before i was on a long 30 road and as it was quite i was doing 35ish. A Police car then comes out a side street (another long 30 road) doing about 50 If he had of clocked me doing 50 i would have been in court

My parents have had 3 Focus 5 door Ghia's. 2 silver and one (current one) dark grey. I love it
They've all been the 2.0 models with all they extras and stuff. My dads a bit of a Ford fanatic.

Focus's are good solid cars. Very well designed and built. However, they ARE SLOW, whatever way u look at it. Even the 2.0 zetec is 'warm'.
If u go for a ghia (woteva shape), u'll get an old man style interior with cheap + fake wood dash, horrid velour seats etc. Nothing sporty.
For that sorta money, i'd be more interested in the Astra mk4 1.6/1.8 Sport.

Im a technician for Ford, so wen lookin at used Focuses, check the power steering pump aint leaking, its 250 just for the pump, and they go after bout 2 years, check water pump, and for a knocking from pedal box. All costly, and common
