Hiya Peeps,
Brought a Sony headunit which im looking to fit, altho the plugs are a wee bit buggered etc so im having to join up the wires with connectors! The problem comes when matchin up the wires and it isnt as easy as i thought (some are obvious and some arent!
Just wondering if peeps could help me
the wires in the car are as follows
SINGLE
red
green
white
blue
black
brown
yellow
STRIPED WIRES
red/white
green/grey
brown/white
brown/yellow
red/brown
brown/black
brown/blue
blue/red
brown/grey
brown/green
brown/purple
and black and white wire!
THE WIRES FROM THE HEADUNIT
yellow
red
black
blue
light blue
orange/white
blue/white
grey
green/black
white
white/black
green
purple
grey/black
purple/black
i know this is a big ask but any help matchin up is much appreciated, like you wouldnt believe!

Red = Red: is your ignition power, fits the red on the HU
Yellow =Yellow: is the Constant power from the bat(so it can store settings etc) fits same on HU
Black = Black: is the earth,
Blue is the remote on for an amp.
the others not sure about, is it a corsa?
just have a look at the wireing going into the speakers. and if its an adapter for the HU it might have what the wires are for written on the wires (can be hard to see sometimes).

buyin a new loom springs to mind.
most of the wires will have what they are written on them.
