Right sometimes when driving in 2nd gear i can hear a rattling/vibrating sound. It continues til i change up or down. Thing is when i'm in 2nd and its happening if i hold the gearknob and pull it back a little the noise stops.
Whats that about?
Gear linkage? Loose nut somewhere??

It might be that the gear isn't being selected properly, linkage adjustment should sort that. Might be more serious though - how is fourth?

All gears are fine bar 2nd, it accelerates fine and feels ok. Just makes the vibrating sound.
I havent located the noise. Although it stops when i hold the gear knob, so probably from the gear box area.

Drove in 4th with no music playing and it makes the noise in 4th too. Only when i lift my foot off the accelerator though. 2nd is louder than 4th, but both are not very persistenet. Usually happens from cold

this is very very common, its a worn or badly adjusted gear linkage, if ya set the linkage again it might sort it, nothing to worry about just annoying, just drive with ya hand on the gear stick lol
