Thats fair enough, but the bit before it says "any defects in materials". If you look in the Dictionary, the deffinition of Stainless steel is "Steel Alloy that does not rust", therefore if it rusts, the material is defective.

I tried that one aswell, they showed me a website that stated that this grade of stainless steel (pretty much the lowest you can get without it being mild-steel) is designed to get a "coat" of protective corrosion all over it, to prevent more serious corrosion.

I wasn't told this at any point during the order-process......in fact, I'd chatted about it being on show, so guessed they'd take it as word that it needed to stay nice'n'shiny...
