Up until yesterday my car was running fine. Starting first time etc. But when I was on my way home from work it cut and it wouldn't start again, it would just tick over. After about 5 mins of trying it finally kicked in and away I went. Then this morning I went to start it and it wouldn't. Any ideas on what is wrong with it?

did u have the ecu light on?
might be a prob with alternator or something else .... if the light did come on, might want to get it read

It came on just before it cut out

yeah its ecu then
it goes into an emergency mode and switches ure car off
u'll need to get the ecu read by a garage to see what has gone wrong, could be a small cheap valve or something expensive

how much does it cost to get the ecu read at a garage?

it shouldnt cost too much, i went to halford and bought a gunsons code reader for 20 quid and did it myself great little tool although a little confusing at times
