Alright people i'm new here found you today.. really good place to find info out, something i've been looking for 4 a while!

Straight to the question - i'm buying a set of 17's for my Corsa C in about four weeks - I understand I need 205/45 and a rough offset of E45? (Whats the offset all about by the way?) to avoid any scrubbing!

I have no worries getting alloys etc. on but would also like to lower the car the rough 30mm that seems safe with a set of 17's!

How do I go about lowering my car? I'm totally lost but just some pointers would be great!

Thanks!

ET45 fine. Take your car to a garage and ask them to fit your springs/kit.

17's will easy go on a 'C' but i don't know the offset cause i drive a 'b'. to lower the car u can either buy lowering springs, which replace your old springs and u use the standard shocker, or u can replace the shocker and spring.
