You might need to downloaded the newer version of the Nokia software from the website, as I think the version on the CD with the phone is the out of date one?

u need to make sure that all the necesary drivers on installed on ur pc (for the cable and fone - the fone driver u cand get off nokia suite cd)
once u have ur fone communicating nicely with ur pc..... u will neva have problems with it again! the hardest part issss to get the bloody thing set up in the first place

Several people I know who have 6230's have had trouble with the noki suite you get with it, and they have used this newer one instead....

I can't view 'My Galery' or the contents of my memory card. I have to use an MMC reader to transfer files...

im currently using a V600 bluetooth fone with camera to take pics....then send them to my bluetooth ngage which is connected via cable to my computer!!! works a treat

If your using XP i had this problem as long as you install the DKU-2 cable drivers just make sure and download the SERVICE PACK 1 from microsoft.co.uk and that will sort your problem

jst got this phone for free from work and have ordered a data cable for it as the one I used to use on my 7250 isn't compatible. Really impressed with the phone so far and the camera is really good quality for a phone. Might get another when I upgrade my personal mobile next month as there's nothing else on the market I prefer at the min
