How will my corsa C 1.8 sri cope with 40mm apex springs, I have 205/40/17 wheels with ET40 alloys.
I also have the Irmscher rear bumper. Will I get any rubbing

There'll be more rubbing than in a "Dirtyest Lesbian of the year contest"  .
Nah, really your should be fine . Mates got 7"*17" OZ rims on his (ET40) with 205/40's and We regularly have it 5 up with ice in the boot (2 12"s and amp), and him thrashing it around with no rubbing   .

diddon m8.. this is what happens wen u lower it -40mm on apex springs..
no rubbimg at all.
