wasnt quicker, but got off the mark faster, i.e. was half a cars length ahead then he came whizzing past me

yes FWD cars usualy dont handle well, but the GTI does it well for FWD

I've driven a few RWD cossies, they a better than a fwd car in every way! The spin less because the car squats on the back wheels FACT.

Your obviously very stupid or on the wind up, so I'll leave you alone now LOL

i have been up against a 500bhp rwd cossie up the strip and was about a wing ahead in first, too much weight

in fact iv raced a m5 in reverse, its quicker between sort of 9-11mph

some good valid points here, everything i posted is from experience and facts that i have seen, without being cocky if i raced a gti round any track in my let im confident of taking it, if we were to swap cars and i drove the gti im confident i'd lick my let with the inexperienced driver in it

but i suppose 0-10mph isnt long enough to brag about really

That Corsa sounds like a proper little weapon! I think I still prefer the throttle bodies than a turbo on a light front wheel drive though!

not been in a turbo corsa so i dunno bout how they launch but my tb'd corsa launches very well & keeps going

depends on driver matt, like i said previous i used hard on/off throttle stops the constant build up of power so it doesnt all come at once

you learn how your own car drives & get used to it so over time i'll be alot faster

only had mine bout 4-5 months now & ive only been driving 19 months so ive alot to learn!

No LSD on mine, I perfer not to use sharp on and off blip of the throttle in favour of smooth actions on the peddle, but each to their own!
