I've taken the rocker cover off and i'm about to fit a new gasket in the next few days, how tight are the bolts supposed to be when refitting it???

less tight than you can get a reading from on a proper 1/2" drive torque wrench.
you'd need a 1/4" or 3/8" drive torque wrench with range starting pretty low. i can't remember the exact setting, but it's not high.
sure i read as a guide, to do it so it's just got tight on each bolt, then an extra half revolution.
do a search on mig. this came up last week i think.
