I just got my new 306 yesterday and it has a clifford solaris alarm on it, a feature of which is remote engine start
The guy I bought it off wrote down how to activate this as he currently had it turned off....I know it works as I saw him use it.
However, when I follow the instructions he's given it doesn't work! Seller has gone on holiday so can't contact him.
Does anyone have a similar alarm and can tell me how to set this up?
So far I am following these instructions:
1. while engine running press ** button, this turns on indicators
2. take key out of ignition and engine continues to run
3. get out of car and press lock/unlock button...this turns off engine and locks car
4. press * button.....this SHOULD restart engine remotely.....but it doesn't
HELP!!!!

as i remember, you have to hold down the star and the arm button simultaneously to activate it, then remove your keys, get out and lock it.
it all looks ok what he's give you apart from the key combo.
it's either star and arm(padlock) or star and headlight button on the 4key fob. must be done at exactly the right time or it wont work.
