To get all the kit repaired (reversed into someone and cracked my rear bumper, arches were cracked from when a ramp slipped when it was driving off a trailer!), get the damaged mesh replaced (from a fixed towbar that damaged it), mesh round the exhaust added, vectra door handles fitted and sprayed, front bumper taken off and reattached cos it was about 5mm lower on the right hand side, new petrol cap (got rid of stuck on dimma cap), bad boy bonnet fitted (that i supplied), skirts smoothed into the front arches and the respray is costing £675, which is a really good price. The guy doing it is a customer from my work, so hes done it a bit cheaper for me than other people. He doesnt have the best facilities (no oven etc) but for the price i really cant complain, and im pleased with the rest of the work done to it.

Oh yeah, the paint is £56 a litre too, the guy didnt realise it was so expensive when he gave me the quote, so i might be paying £700, but thats still not bad

He was about to spray it as we got there, so im gonna go up about 5 30 and get some pics before i go to work. Its got all day tomorrow to dry, then hes gonna put the bits back on, mop it down, wax polish etc on monday morn, ready to pick up monday afternoon. I was reaaaallly looking forward to getting it back today, but im not annoyed that its not done cos i can see how much work hes done on it since yesterday, and as i said, really pleased with how it looks

Couple of sneaky pics, most of the ones i took inside came out looking pretty black on the digicam. Getting it about 4pm on monday, so ill get some decent pics prob on tuesday. First time id seen the paint on the car, and i absolutely love it! He was just about to laquer it when i took the pics (again, had to go to work so havent got pics of it finished) so thats just the base coat on there, but im sssooo pleased!
