if i have 2 subs that are both dual 4ohm voice coils, and the power of both is 750rms

does the amp have to be 1400rms and run 2ohm, 4ohm or 8ohm?

and how would i wire them up?

you would run it in 2ohms (lower ohm-age, higher the wattage that mono block will produce) and if the subs need 750w RMS, then you would need a mono block that produced 1500w RMS at 2Ohms

No if you have two subs that have dual 4 ohm voice coils each and each sub is rated at 750wRMS you would want an amp that puts out 1500wRMS @ 1 ohm

This is richie btw......

lol yea good point....i totally flew over that yea, you need 1500w RMS @ 1Ohms

Few amps that will do something similar are -

Vibe Monobox 4 - pushes out 1400wRMS at 1ohm

DLS A6 - 1200wRMS at 1ohm (more expensive, but better quality )

True Tech TRU-H1 Hammer - 1500wRMS at 1ohm (but is nearly a grand for the amp )

If you after something cheapish, then the vibe will do the job nicely, especially at the 400 odd quid price tag

well the vibe will be just right by the sounds of things 400quid will be ok for me

so just to confirm, the 2 subwoofers both dual 4ohm operation, will work fine and full power (almost) running at 1ohm from the vibe monobox 4? whihc is 1400rms @ 1ohm

right just wait for some cash to arrive

I got a Vibe Monobox 4 for £100 , swapped a blown up VP4 in for it.

If you want to pick up any vibe amp up cheap, keep an eye on this guy's auctions, the guy selling it is Adrian, vibe's no1 sales rep.
