the mk1 has now had bilstein shox and springs, lowering her 60mm
ive picked up sum 5 spoke split rims
also now have my donor car ready for the engine conversion! heres my donor car 1.8 8v gti soon 2 be on twin 40s

well.. soon 2 have a respray ive changed my mind about the colour again!
im liking this so i think this is the colour now!
engine is out of my project so i can start degreasing ready 4 respray
im hoping to get the lump out of that donor car asap! then we are on 2 a winner

lol! well i do try
im gonna split the rims and polish the lip again, then its the centres 2 be sprayed black and some stretched rubber on them
the interior is gonna have 2 buckets (corbeau forza sports) a 3' wide polished strut brace on the rear, the dash is havin a coating of carbon fibre, the radio panel is being filled with buttons for the wipers and hopefully after the mot im gonna remove the indicator stalk and mount a motorbike style indicator button on my gearknob

i know this might sound a bit random but does any1 know where i can get a tool 2 remove the studs on a split rim??
i wanna split the hub so i can polish it

What does the bolt head look like? I think they are Torx bolts, if you take a close up picture I can confirm... You can get a full set of Torx heads for your socket wrench from Halfords or similar.

they are like the head of a torx i think! cant take a picci! ill go count the no. of sides 2 them now lol
they are a nut on the back then this funny head...think its a 16 sided :S torx :S

Hmmm, it might be unique to that wheel manufacturer. I have seen some wierd spline type drivers around, they night fit those bolts... We got them from B&Q...
