Hi peeps
Im looking for some help wiring a rev clock to my 1.2 8v corsa b.
Im aware in some models there's a green wire taperd up behind the clocks but there aint in mine!
In the engine bay at the plug over from the coil there's a brown,black,black/red,brown/yellow wire loom whichi ive been told is where the clock shud be tapped into.
From the rev clock theres a green,red and black wire(theres two more asides from those which are for the light)
Ive tried tapping in randomly but the engine management light came on so i stopped straight away!
Nobody seems to have an answer so hopefully someone here can help

There should be a green wire coming out of the end of the coil. If there isn't then your car is odd....

the coil earth, shud give signal for counter... not dure tho

i'm not too sure if its just a case of runing the wire between the 2 plugs its may have to be ran through the ECU? anyone?
anyways this is were the green wire is in the engine bay coming from the coil
and this is were the wire is on the plug in behind the dials

checked both them places and still no joy,the one in the engine is where the brown,brownyellow,red/black and black are

hrmm.... i just checked mine there and theres only 2 black wires and 1 green one coming from it.
i think yer car may have an electronic speedo and dials set.
havent got a clue how to wire these up i'm afraid
i read that its wired off the ecu.... my advise is to be completely sure about what you connect in there before u start cos if ya get it wrong ya will probably blow the ecu.

the green wire is where the ecu is on a 1.2 8v..i fitted a digi dash to mine and needed to locate it for the revcounter..i know its around there somewhere...i just wired it up using a bullet clip...

ecu is drivers footwell under the plastic cover just right of the accelerator..romove that and there will be the green wire your looking for..

any ideas for the red wire it says its to go to a live point from the engine so is that the battery or another wire im after?
