my computer keeps restarting every so often. i thought this was due to a 300 watt psu. i have got a 420 watt which i will connect up once i get chance. but now, it keeps locking up on me  done a fresh install and it's still doing it 
anyone got any ideas what it could be

maybe you downloaded a certain security update from microsoft. had the same prob. the sec update number has 811 or 911 in it thats all i canb rememeber check in your add/remote progs...

CPU fan RPM is fine and so is temp.
Only update i have put on is SP1A for Win XP.
Only thing i can think of is the PSU Watt and that the HD could be a bit fecked. Will try the PSU first as that is the cheapest to replace
