yesterday my mates dog was bleeding from his penis, it was only a light flow of blood, but he is like a big part of the family, I dont think he has been neuted, but he hasnt tried to shag anyone.

can anyone shed some light on the matter? or somewhere to take him?

dogs tend to let their penis get in contact with the outside ground, maybe he's picked up a slight infection or he was shaggin some blonde bint from hull and caught chlamydia?

mind you dogs can get hernia's which cause serious problems also

So he should probably take him to the vet or to the rspca amimal clinic?

That happened to one of the dog that I used to have, I forget exactly what it was, but he needed to have his balls chopped off. I think it was his prostate or something, and it was a light flow of blood like you described. Take it to the vet to have it checked out.

well im guessin the poor litle thing hasnt cut himself down below, or you'd be able to see it wouldnt you?
so either infection in the nearby area or has a bad hernia, hernias in dogs can cause bad intestinal problems, causes bleeding and the intestines to be sucked into the hernial gap, causes death

My old neighbour used to have a G.Shep, that had some kind of urinary problem with symptoms you describe, think it was a cyst or some kind of ulcer...

Just go the the vets with him mate, you'll only end up worrying more when people keep tellin you worst case scenario on here

thats ma dawg, its light drips of blood it happened once last week and yesterday night, i'll take him vet tomoro morning and see what they say cheers mist. hes a tuff bastard he'll be alrite

my chocolate lab has epilepsy, fucking scary the first time he had a fit cos i didnt know dogs could get it! Take him down the vets mate, it will probably be easily sortable and he'll be fine
