Sorry if this seems an odd question, but are there two (or more) different colours of door rub strips on Corsa C's ?
The reason I ask is that I've just had my Black Corsa C repaired by Vauxhall, following damage to my rear quater (Pillar just jumped out at me )and the new rub strip that they have fitted back on the rear quarter, appears to be a totally differnt colour to the old one on the drivers door, which it lines up with.
I appreciate that a new rub strip is going to be a different shade to a old warn strip, but the new strip is actually grey and duller than the old ones, which are still nice and black (no they haven't been sprayed).
I just wondered if maybe there are black rub strips for black cars and they've put the wrong colour strip on.
It looks very odd and makes it stand out a mile that the cars had a repair done on it.
Hope that you guys can clear this up. Cheers.

try putting some silicone spray or back to black stuff on the duller one. see if that makes a difference.
i'm personally not aware of different coloured rubstrips.

Its quite reasonable that they'll look different due to being different ages and even possibly different composition of plastic etc. either way if its repaired and not right have them sort it. A bodyshop should be able to repair a car so that its difficult to tell the repair has taken place.
