On this forum there are lots of people asking about moding the 1.4, 1.6 & 2.0 engine's, but not much talk about the 1.8 fitted to the Corsa C Sri.
What are the best mods for this engine ? Are there any cheap ways of getting major power increases ?
What BHP is possible with this engine ?

theres not muh about due to relitivly new engine compared to the XE's.
and there sertainly aint any tuned ones about yet.
best mod you can do to any engine is intake manifold, zorst ect.
there is an intake manifold for the 1.8 sri engine, should see a agin of about 20bhp or so.
possiblities with BHP possible is endless as there are 1.6's with 200bhp. so ou could gain loads if you throw engough money at it.

You can probably get the throttle body on the engine enlarged too. This, with an uprated inlet manifold and a Uni-Chip would give you some decent gains

Not to mention uprating the exhaust system and exhaust manifold too...

enlarged throttle bodies are available from regal. they give a better response from the throttle

regal have loads of stuff for the 1.8 now, i'd give them a call and im sure they will sort you out with some power!
