Just a quick note to anyone who has brought a 6230 in the last week on orange, beware, or if you are about top buy one.

Orange has made a dodgy batch of 200,000 of SIM cards which have been sent out with the new 6230s.

My brother brought yesturday this phone from the Carphone Warehouse in Telford, Shropshire, and went to register his SIM card. They have deactivated his old SIM card and his new one is duff and wont work. Orange WONT transfer calls or re-activate your old SIM card - they have said it SHOULD be sorted in 3/4 DAYS!!! Therefore my brother has lost his work phone til the end of the week.

Yeah some problem to do with SIM provisioning or something, typical Orange fuck up

Lucky I got my 6230 when it first came out, not had any problems
