There are many improvisations you can do. You can make a heat sheild, you can make a little box for the induction kit and seal it in with the air feed....there are many things you CAN do.....its just having the resources to doing them.
Try some simple options first. Give the induction kit another air feed....induction kits should have at LEAST two source of cold air.
If that fails add a heat sheild between the engine and the induction.
If that fails rip that shit off and put ur old air box back on.
