Right, i have two installed because we have setup a "lounge area" outside my room, and i want to have the same sound outside the room as inside.

Could just use a splitter, but i haven't got one here, so was hoping to use the other sound card and run it through that.

The sound is in different rooms, basically.

I can get them running different sounds, just not the same

only specialist cards let you do this and they cost upwards of £400

regular cards wont and there will be no way to do it unless you write your own drivers & pther things

You sure there isn't a winamp plugin to do this?

There is a program called otsjuke that will do this also, it will use one soundcard for output, the other for monitoring, so they will both output the same

aye, im sure there is a plugin for winamp that will control two soundcards do a search on winamp or google for a winamp plugin

however, there are loads of uses for having two soundcards, like ally said, if you have dj'ing software like NI traktor then you can set up one for monitoring and the other as the live output And using traktor, you could get one to play the live track and set the other soundcard to monitor the same track, therefore two outputs

However, easiest way would be to buy a M-audio card (about 140 quid) which offers 6 mono-outputs (3 stereo pairs) and a number of inputs, all in the form of jack plugs, and when using the wave driver you can assign stuff to different channels etc etc
