Is it just me or did anyone think the opening scene was uncessary.

Will smith wakes up and you see him in boxers, lots of shots of his chest etc etc, fair enough.

next shot hes in the shower and you see his batteh? wtf, point being is?

The whole point of the shower scence, is that it shows that his character gets stressed out about stuff, and therefore doesnt cover the shower with a shower curtain or anything because of his paranoia etc etc Its a crap scene yesh, but it doesnt explain alot about his character in the film

If you werent so worried that you might see his penis, and that someone might see you blushing and think you are a closet queer, you might understand the story a bit more, and be able to relate it to the rest of the film as mentioned by others
