I need to get the rear heated screen switch out, but that means taking the air con knob off, i can take the other 2 off but not this one, in the haynes manual it says it doesnt come off, is this true or is there a way of getting them off?

try putting a small screw driver into the slot underneath the knob once its been pulled out to realease the clip

Theres definately no slot to unclip it, does anyone know if it does come off?

It does come off - gently pull it with force. Sounds like an antithisis but its the only way. Pull it too violently and it will snap the clip. My clip neeeded gluing as it slpit, but just hung in there.

the knob will brake when you take it of. but thay are cheep from you main vauxhall garage.
