am getting a bit sick of my car at the moment, nothing seems to be right anyway...

when cars parked up wit eigne running the revs seem to be up n down as in it wont idel in the same place... cud this be the timing out?

and wen drive in 1st wen i put my foot down the car seems to stay at 2k revs for a few seconds thn start to pick up....

any ideas?

ICV, Throtle positioning sensor, air leaks, faulty plugs and/or leads, take your pick

mine does this, gettin a trusty friend to strip me intake bits n pieces down and check & clean everything... hopefully will be sorted then

i had flat spots accelerating in 1st or 2nd, replaced the air filter which was clogged and the spark plugs, one of which was misfiring, sorted

ok, had car to the garage n they had it on the compter... there was no errors so they put in on this other thing and they sed

Vacum manifold pressure low - possible valve timing wrong

you rekcon its worth checking the timing bellt isnt out by a tooth or soo?

chack for air leaks and make sure the map sensor is connected right or get a new map sensor from scrappy to test
