Whats a good workout to do every night just for the arms.

Nothing too major, just doing about 100 situps and some arm curls really.

Got 4 x 2k, 4 x 1l and 4 x 1/2k weights.

Cheers

thanks for the info Si. I will be joining a gym soon, just wondered if it would be worth doing a small number of weights in order to loosen stuff up a bit.

i can bench press 180lbs as my upper body strength is fairly decent and i push myself hard, a bit of competition can also do you good, as it motivates you more

piece piss, was had 16 20 plates on the carlift frame. What you need to remember is events are different to gym weights. So the grip and leverage is totally different in the end if burst alot of veins in my neck and eyes due to pressure built up. By the end of the year ill have a 240kg deadlift off the floor

Does your routine work VT? I mean it seems alot of reps . Is it toning or can you use some real poundage?

it works for me ok, the first lot of reps of each exercise are just warm up reps, the ones after that i lift heavy and as slow as possible so that im not burning energy, but the muscles are stretching for longer periods of time, i've shoved loadsa bulk on and few bits here and there could do with a bit of toning, my triceps seems to be the easiest for me to get bigger on, sometimes instead of doing the tricep routines, i will do 130lbs on the pullbars.

i'd be no good at your kinda of training, i'd either injure myself or not be strong enough

so far roid free but im planning 4 weeks time to begin. You get to a point where you cannt progress at the same speed.

Got a target of 260kg for 4-5 reps by the time im 24 on the deadlift n squat 2 years to do it
