Just got off the phone to my cousin,
He said hes pretty sure he hasnt seen a white CTR at the factory, hes been working there for well over 2 years now,
He said hes going to ask for me and get back to me next week, he started chatting about the american civics, and he said they defently do export to japan, but he said hes pretty sure he aint seen a white type r,

oh and i did see the intigra today,
i loved it
interior was mint, the sales chap said it has been deristricted, as by law in japan they cant go over 107mph? dunno if thats bull or not? had full UK MPH clocks,
however i just think the car is to big for me

white ctrs are jap imports uprated engines+ lsd if fitted.
but like perviously stated ive heard uk are clamping down on young people with imports

Well this is what im thinking, i dont really want the faster engine, i dont really mind about the red interior,
Its the white i want,
Uk spec CTR in white is what i want.
I know for a fact they spray civics white in swindon,
The only thing i would want which the jap spec has, is the white alloys.

cool my mates just put the Toda manifold on. It goes so much better. I couldnt belive the difference its made. but come at a cost of £900 fitted

FACT: ALL CIVIC TYPE-R's ARE MADE ON THE SAME PLANT IN SWINDON 
Pete if you import a JDM CW CTR the 107mph limiter will be removed  All CW CTR's come with white wheels and the red recaro interior as well as LSD BUT it won't run at 212bhp and you may need the ecu changed as the JDM CTR's are set to run on 100ron

robbo, my cousin works in swindon, in the plant.
If there was a white civic type r he would of seen it,
hes gonna check and get back to me, but he even said some civics are made in japan,

No CTR's are made anywhere but Swindon I suspect they made CW in large batches

Yep, ALL EP3 CTR's... sucks that you have to import a car that is made an hour away from you

I dunno, its annoying cause u would think u might be able to pay honda a bit more to spray u a white one..
As it is if u buy a new one u have to wait for it to be built.
I just dont think its right, my cousin would of defently seen a white CTR if they was built there as they are so different,

Surely they can sort you out. tell em if you cant buy one in white, your going to buy a renault 182 or somethin like a cooper S, a competitor car. Then say youll tell all your fiends that they sadi no

nice idea but it wont work... the ctr website set up a poll yonks ago askinghow many ctr owners wud have bought CW an Honda UK showed Honda Japan an they still said no
