A 1.8 16v Corsa SRi.

Getting it delivered on Wednesday and collected on Friday so I'll get a good chance to compare it to the 1.6 Sport I've currently got.

It's a 5 door I'm getting for a test drive but I'll go for a 3 door if it's any good on the Glenrothes to Livingston daily drive.

Take it for a spin on the cluny road as well for a benchmark against the Sport.

Quite impressive cars, very quiet though no where near as raw as I would like

i h8 the new engines lack of raw ness,

my old corsa 1.2 8v felt as though i was flying but astra can do twice the speed and is very boring, i imagine a xe'd corsa to be fukin ace tho

Well I've done a few journeys to Livi and back and it's quite nice. Nice to have aircon.

It handles much better than my 1.6 Sport Corsa B which is standard throughout. Much more confident on the twisties.

The steering is maybe a little on the light side but nothing I couldn't get used to I suppose.

The interior is the usual VX boring but it's functional and does what it needs to.

Nice big exhaust as standard on the back and the red brake calipers and disc's all round with the 16" wheels make it nice.

Looks good in saphirre black as well.

The 5 door doesn't look much bigger than a 3 door Corsa C either although if I do go for it I'll more than likely go for the 3 door.

I'll try and get some pics of the exterior and interior up if I remember tomorrow.
