Just come across these.I've heard there good.Sound great and improve the throttle responce.Only £16 too.

Does anyone know if it would fit a 1.2i corsa 1995 twist?

and what are your opinions on such cheap kits?

If your getting an induction kit, you really should be prepared to spend over £120, the cheap ones will loose you power and economy. If your just looking for the noise and a bit better performance, fit a new pannel type filter and drill some holes in your air box at the bottom to fit some cool air intake pipes into it....

i might just get the kit for a mess around.See how good it is and then ifs if really bad on my fuel and performance i'll take it off and put the old panel filter back on.

Also, where do u get the cool air pipes from?

They are just ducting pipes, you can get them from hardware stores... if you get the induction kit then it would be a good idea to make a heat shield using the old airbox - cut it up so it covers the side of the filter that is closest to the engine, put a few cold air pipes in that too

What are the cold air feeds made from? Are they meant to sit at the grille? I'm new to this thing too and are they actually called ducting pipes when you buy them?

cheers e-tec, that will help me too.Just got off the phone to my local car parts shop. They say the k&m induction kits for the corsa are a rip off and the universal do the same job for £40 cheaper. He suggests i go for this air ram? filter which is £35 and takes only 10 min to fit.Drilled the air box this morning and i carnt really a huge difference when reving it up.

Also getting some new mich 45 front tyes fitted today.Hopfully it will solve the speedo problem and i can take my test tommorow in my own car

I got my last lesson at 2pm.If the corsa still has speedo problems i'll have to use my instuctors 207.The good thing is that it has P/A streering, bad thing is that the car is bigger than the corsa therefore harder to do manovores.

I'm just hoping everything goes well and i pass first time.

how would michelin tyres resolve your speedo issue? just wondered?

yep, to be honest the universals are probably judt as good and alot cheaper, try and get this design

it has a heat shield which will help and then if you can seal an air intake on the end and feed it throught to your grill you will have the ram air effect like the pipercross viper but costing you £150 less.
made by apiro.

no too much messing around, it comes with 4 neck sizes, just match them to you inlet pipe and then tighten up.

for the cold air feed, you might find it hard to get one bigger enough to fit on the end unless you use tumble dryer ducting.

just rest the cold air feed infront of it.

tunmble dryer ducting would be good for it but is rather big to fit through to the grill but worth a try.

Thats the one i'm on about. The guy at the store i called called them somthing ram? I think i'll be going ahead with buying one of them.only £35.As for the cold air feed, i'll have to go my local b&q or somthing and see what they got.

the smaller Mich tyes have been fitted and the streering feels ALOT lighter.Just got to be carful on these wet roads. The speedo problem has droped by about 4 mph but its still 6mph out or there abouts.

Get the aluminium cold air pipe as it is heat resistant plus it stretches to the size u need. Fix the cold air feed/s in place with cable ties.

I saw the air ducting pipes today in Halfords, if you go to the air filter section in the parts department you should see them sitting there somehwere - most Halfords sell the same stuff... They are made from aluminium and are flexable into shape, but remain rigid after you have bent them into place, so you can hld them in with a few cable ties or string if your a pikey They're really cheap too and come in varying sizes...

as above
i got my air ducting pipes from halfords running from the bottom of the lower grill up to the left side of the airbox where the holes are meant to be drilled. if the holes aint drilled on this size then it will suck up hot air and wont make a difference
