My mate lives in Lincoln. Be worth a visit simply to collect the goods even if no violence were involved.

I am having similar problems with a guy on eBay. Item cost £132.00 and he cashed my cheque and hasn't sent the item and now his eBay account has been suspended and has received quite a bit of negative feedback since I won the auction. Bar steward!! Dont know what I can do now!?

do what he wants, then contact ebay and they will deal with it.
My mum and her partner have a business on ebay and have a 100% rating, but they have dealt with people like that and not doing what they say and they cashing your paypal is the long way.
Ebay usually get onto rogue traders

Declining collection even for local things usually indicates that the item doesnt exist. Dodgy bastard.

if you pay by paypal you can reclaim your money within 30 days of payment if item doesn't turn up/ same for payments with credit cards! I never use anything BUT paypal now, just to cover my back!

leni here - just posted on ebay forum for you and someone suggested this

mslees (216) (view author's auctions)
24/08/04 20:55(#1 of 1)

Forward that onto abuse@ebay.co.uk including all headers and an explanation and inform the seller's bank that they're using their account for fraudulent purposes, bringing with you a printout of said email.

What a nightmare.

I'll keep you posted on other suggestions but reporting himshould get his account suspended
