Right, my comp if full of crap. Pop ups all the time, homepage changing @ random etc.

How can I stop it? Also, this Windows Messenger window keeps popping up with messages about sites. How can I stop it????

Any help much appreciated!

I ran it etc but still getting pop ups and stuff

there is away to fix this it somtimes works.....

1, Go to Controll Pannel
2, Click on Administratice Tools
3, Then click Services
4, Then look in that table for a heading Messager click on that
5, Then you will see a box saying startup type put that on disable and your messaged should stop "Good Luck"

download ad-aware and install AVG abnti virus they are both free

If you get service pack 2 for windows xp internet explorer will then have a built in pop-up blocker

right go here >>>> http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022-10308605.html?tag=lst-0-1 download AdAware SE - Install it thn update it - thn run it - it will probs find quite a bit of stuff - once it has finsihed - select all objects and quarantine them - then wait for SP2 to download and install tht - adaware will have shifted all the shit - and SP2 will stop it from coming back and get rid of your popups ................ until the spyware companies find a way round it
