Not even tried to take it on the rollers, from what I've seen of other cars on rollers it'd be all over the shop.

Raced a cossie running T34, low comp, grey injectors, holding 30psi last night and just edged him

I'd have no chance on braking or handling though, his car is a weapon!

I'd never put anything on my car that "looks nice", that would be detremental to performance, or even worse a potential BIG safety issue, which is what I see the back end randomly stepping out as...

If your ever down my way I'll take you out in my car and step on the brakes (300mm 4 pots, and rear drums)

Then I'll take you out in my mates Nova (308mm 2 pots and rear discs)

I guarentee mine will stop faster, and the Nova will spin round!

Yes ended up using 10mm spaces on the front. No noticable change in handling, thank god!

You really need to stamp on the brakes to get it to spin, and you also would need to really stamp on them to see the benefit (if any) of the rear discs.

If the cars didnt spin out, then there would be a marginal difference of having the rears.

use your brain please. stamping on the brakes at 70mph even in a 1.2 is going to lock the rears, especially if its lowered.

Unless you are running mega power, rear discs are a waste of cash. as timrud said, they will provide a negligable increase in braking effect, and are probably more dangerous than anything, simply because the corsa's geometry isnt set up for rear discs. There is no weight over the rear wheels, and no ABS, Drums do a perfectly good job.

agree with all of this. however, it does appear that set up right (ie with brake proportioning valve fitted), rear discs can give a better feel, essp when braking from high speed
