So whats everyones opinion on it now they've played it for a while...

I thought it was too linear & not enough story...

Start Level
\/
\/
Lights go out
\/
\/
Use Flashlight
\/
\/
Monster
\/
\/
Select gun
\/
\/
Shoot in dark blidnly
\/
\/
Use flashlight to check if dead

and repeat till end of level...

bit to one-way for me, also a tad easy... been playing it on veterain(sp) & its not all to hard, will try nightmare later i think, but now i've completed it there isn't much more for me to do...

it is a remake of the first one which was what, nearly 10 years ago, tha levels are exatly the same, theve just go through it and make it 3d.

the levels are nothing like the first incarnation of doom!

rite oh got ya, no played it myself, we had a rolling demo on screens in store on release day, but it just seems same old, same old, presumed it was the same, as i know its a remake.

we sold out on release day tho, which was fun!

I never restarted after installin either yet it ran flawlessly on mine - never even crashed once either
