i wanna replace the factory fitted speakers in my corsa b (W reg) I think the current front speakers are 6.5inch and 5.25inch in the back. I want sum gud speakers that will fit right in without any hassle, any ideas? i hav been looking at sum jbl gto 526 speakers for the back, r they ne good?

Wud sum 4x6 inch speakers fit in the original place in the back? Or how bout sum 5x7

the rears are 4", and you would need custom fit jobbies like alpines.

you can buy an adaptor kit to make other speakers fit from halfords/bass junkies etc
these cost about 20

fronts you can fit 5.25 or 6.5" using the adaptor rings as said ^^^

What alpine speakers are they so i can a look. Did they fit in allright or did you have to use an adaptor ring?

If you want to replace the front speakers to ANY make, you will need to buy the autoleads adaptors anyway.

BTW on the box for the adaptors, it will say 13cm front adaptors for corsa, but you can also use these to fit 17cm speakers too.

What speakers are best for the front? Could someone tell me which is best value for money. Do you think i should get 13 or 17cm components?

there not bad, i had them for a while they fit easily and dont foul on the window.

Corsa B 5door (4/93-10/00)
Vauxhall Corsa B 3door (4/93-10/00)
Vauxhall Corsa C 3door (10/00-)
this will tell you what size and what conections you need to fit them
to you question I think you need this for theRear speakers and the size is 5.25" aperture
and this is the FRONT speakers and the size is 6.5" aperture

I replaced my old cars ones with Sony's custom fit speaker and they sounded great...

only thing with the fronts, is the mounting depth, i have alpines andi had to trim the doorcard slightly and the window just catches on the speaker when you wind it down
