Vauxhall did mate a limited bertone astra version. The bodykit is slightly different from the GSI. You can tell my its front bumper which differs from a standard and GSI front. Cant remember what size engine was in it thou.

There was one for sale not so long ago on the classified section by ian i think

the prodrive kit is very different to the Gsi kit. The Sri turbo was a limited production run of 500 cars to fill the gap before the Gsi came out, it was released to give ford a bit of compatiion as they beat vauxhall to it when they released the Focus, it was a 2.0 16v turbo exactly the same engine as the Gsi, the coupe turbo and zaffy gsi (Z20LET).

The Gsi did get a better looking kit IMHO and better extra's as standard (mainly the leather Recaro interior).

i likey these too!! there isn't a 2.2 turbo but there is a normal 2.2 16v SRi. It isn't much quicker than the 2.0 SRi (non-turbo)and its a couple of groups higher.

The GSi turbo is the daddy to the SRi turbo (extras wise) and i think the kit is very nice and best in Blue

i'd settle for the SRi turbo but i didn't realise how few there were. I saw what i thought was just a normal SRi in weston this weekend, but then herd it go "pssssssst". very sweet
