they only 8v?
i have a 1.4i 8v engine but i want something more faster ... im bored of it and its crap i get beat by everything
what a decent engine to go for thats good with a 18yr old lad in his first year of driving?

1.6 16v engine dude 109bhp compared to the 1.6 16v ecotech engine in later models with 106bhp iirc
good base engine for a lot of tuning that dude

well i only have 60bhp at the mo hahah

A 2.0 16v would be a good engine to start with... And end with Though you would have to pay through the roof prices to get insured on one... Also, I hope you are considering buying a 1.6 and not transplanting...

yes buying new car i could have had a 1.6 16V sport for WELL cheap just didnt have the money at the time and my mate needed a VERY quick sale due to baby and house
