What years do the sri's range from and also the Sports. Plus which would be more tunable if any.

the newer sports hav a differnt interior... but it u get a phase one sport like mine the interior will be the same as the sri...

what years did the 1.4 16v sports come out and whats the latest year available for the sports. Do the sri's and sports come with power steering even though some of them are pre 98.

i thinp PAS on sports was optional... my sport is a 97, but there are sum 96 one's around... and the SRI was out earlyer thn tht i think

i have a 93 SRi, think some 94's had 16v lumps in... the early ones had "optional" gizmos, i have no PAS, AC electric windows or anything... upside is i can rip it all apart dead easy

mine is a 95

phase 1 goes from 95-97 then phase 2 97-2000

16v sport is a more tunable engine by far. go for a 97+ sport as it was the facelift model, different grills etc

was thinking of a 98 or 99 sport because they should have less milleage on them. Its just finding one in good condition (Engine, interior etc).
