As a rule no, but they should flow more air than a standard paper filter.

they change the acceleration curve more as they give more throttle response. not that noticable to be honest

Drive your car with no air filter to see if you can notice any difference. Then consider that with any form of panel filter it wont be that good.

dose a lighter drive wheel help and are they easy to change...
