Holden Australia fitted air-con to Corsa Bs here. Many parts are are still available new. First centre knob pulls out, just like the rear demister, to turn on the unit. It's a tight fit (makes getting the battery out a real pain, but can be done. Works great - I've been in my black GSi when it's 42 degrees C outside and no probs.

Air con was an option on UK Corsas too. All GSi, Sport, CDX, SRi models had Air Con options.
