Just got sum pre 97 bumpers which are slightly cracked under the bottom vent section, instead of getting this repaired i'm considering following the corner and cutting this to below the crack making a deeper vent and mesh this!

Has anyone done this before?

i wont be using a hacksaw, infact i wont be cutting it my local bodyshop will be if i decide to mod it
