Do you find styling your hair a constent battle? Its true that most women prefer men with the mest up hair effect. Why is this? Read on if your interested.....
Taken from menshealth.co.uk
"One question comes before all others: could I run my fingers through it? I'm looking for a 'yes'.
If you have the standard man haircut, ditch the parting.
Just run your hand across the top of your head to achieve that artfully messed up look.
It will give me fantasies of messing up your hair even more by grabbing it in ecstasy as we tumble around in bed.
"To some women, overly long hair may be too creative or artistic to live with," says Parkinson.
If you take this route, make sure yo've got the hair for it.
Do people compliment your long hair? Do women ask to touch it? If not, think about a haircut.
But even if you have a dome like Clive Anderson's, there is a bright side.
"These men are seen as less romantically sexy and less dominant, but more wise and gentle," says Cunningham.
"Baldness signifies that men are past the competitive stages of their lives and are ready to settle down."
If you're bald but still sowing your oats, buy a red Porsche or something, to let us know where your priorities lie."
I find styling my hair a constent battle every morning.Every day its a different style.....i've always dreamed of the perfect hair where u get up....apply a little wax and it looks good and holds all day.Well.....afder many months of top salon tips, experametation with my own hair....and research ive colabarated a list of top tips to get your hair looking smart.
Appying:
This really depends on the thickness of your hair, the thicker the more wax, putty etc you'll need to apply to stop dry areas.
Dont rush, spend atleast 2 mins applying the product and (Dont use a mirror!) You will find you put more and better effort into the hair if your not looking at yourself thinking "this is not looking all that good"
You need to get at the root of your hair for the best and longer lasting results. Some people find they can add just a little product onto the dry hair and they get the effect they wish from this...these people are lucky lucky bastards.
Like i said before, it all deppens on the thickness of your hair....No ones hair is the same....so you'll have to try and try again untill you devolop a nack for it.This will take time and alot of money on different shampooes, and styling products but the end result will be worth it.
Styling:
try not to use the tips of your fingers, instead shape your hand like a
police man giving a stop sign on the road. Not spreding your fingers or thumb
..hold the hand hard onto the head...starting from the back move your way forward
in a side to side motion...use both hands if this fails to get the "out of bed look"
Other good tips:
Use the best shampoo you can buy.Salon products are great but expensize.
Try to match up the specs on the bottle to your hair type.
change your shampoo type every 2 months.
Use a blob the size of a 10 pence piece for your shampoo.
If you use a hair dryer to dry your hair, dont put the setting on the highest heat as this tends to make the hair less managable.Instead use a medium to cold setting.
If you suffer from quite dry hair, Just when you come out of the shower apply a small blob of conditioner to your hair and dont wash out.
When scrubbing your hair with your shampoo, dont be too harsh.Instead gently massage your product into your hair using the palm of your hand on the top.Scrubbing your head hard can lead to grease molocules creaping out etc.Just be gentle.
Rinse your hair for atleast 1min to get rid of all the shampoo....Even though it may seam that you have rinsed the shampoo completely away, this is not the case.60 secounds will insure its all washed out.
Wash your hair atleast twice a week......once a day is best.
enjoy your hair

I'd be slightly worried if random women wanted to stroke my hair

I'd be worried if women just came up to me and asked to touch my hair, I would enjoy it, but find it worrying...
