This should be smooth and curved and an even thickness a true sign the bottom end has gone lol

seeing this reminds me off my gearbox trouble. my thrust bearing. this is when u know u cant change gear

erm its a combo of gear box oil and engine oil than mingled together when i turned my back o nthe engine for a small moment of time, the house still smells funny now, glad i dont live there anymore, it soaked thru the skirting boards the lot

me me me me me me..well i was removing the 'box and some hose came off without me noticing and pissed everywhere when i wasnt looking lol! the joys of student accomodation!!!! the land lady asked about the smell......what smell.....i cant smell anything!

shitey 1.4 8v tho... block was a bit buckled/warped/twisted i think, plus a slight crack on one of the sleeves in a bore
