How would i change the colour of this in photoshop keeping the reflections etc of the paintwork. im new to photoshop and can only get a solid colour which looks crap. Any help appreciated.

IIRC, it's called "Hue and Saturation". Select the bit you wanna change the colour of, goto Hue and Saturation, tick the "Colourize" box, and adjust the Hue/Saturation accordingly.

select what u wana change, copy it n make a new layer, assuming your in adobe photoshop 7 hit ctrl+shift+U, then go image, adjustments, variations, select colour u want, lower opacity of layer so u can still see th reflections etc, and erase the colour variation from th layer that you dont want, ie the bits over headlights and windows etc
