2 New rides for next year

One will be pretty much the same as this:

I know it exists hence the link i posted. It's in Texas.

However it doesnt exist in Europe

yea i know, but whats the point in that? we need NEW rides, not ones that have been nicked from the states

plus it isnt all that good...not from what i have been told, nor the video i was shown - as it goes around very slowly (5mph i think).

I think the drag race ride (forgotten which park it is in) would be a far better bet

You know how much these rides cost? The Drag Ride (Top Thrill Dragster) cost in excess of $25,000,000

It also took years of R&D. Thorpe park doesnt have the greatest amount of space either hence their thrill ride orientation.

The fly swatter ride thing doesnt go fast as it doesnt have to.

Thorpe Park staff are informing us that plans for the 2006 Intamin Accelerator/Rocket coaster are on display in a staff-only area. The plan shows a 1/2 scale Top Thrill Dragster clone built in Model World behind Tidal Wave.

Much smaller. Still good though

Looks like it'll be competing quite well with Alton Towers soon. Although Alton Towers have applied for planning permission for a giant wooden roller coaster
