Reboring the block on my 2.0 16v to a 2.1
wats the expense and the benefits??

the real expense it the new pistons.....
about 500+
Re-boring isnt an expensive job itself.... just the cost to strip the engine, then rebuild....
When doing it you will need 88mm pistons (for 2.1) get forged pocketed, uprate your cams, and fit arp rod bolts.....
actual re-boring will be sub 100

got ARP rodbolts lightened and balanced crank at the moment,
could strip the engine myself which would save a few bob, its just how long can i go without a car
got a head which has been ported and polished but that aint on the car needs 2 valves replacing.. prob best to get it all done at once though
who does the pistons?

Go do a google search, or search on here for QED, 2.4 2.2 etc etc...
I cant r'ber there url off hand..... but its on there site.... think its about 1k like
