A student of mine bought won this phone on eBay, except it wasn't a phone, it was a link. He payed, then got the link, then realised, complained and the guys reply was like 'No refunds, have a nice day, take care.' really standard like he gets them all the time.

He showed me this so I did a little search about on this guys username, turns out there's a domain name very similar, so I did a lookup on the domain, same name as the one in the auction, plus his home address and phone number in the lookup - bonus.

The lad phoned him up and told him he'd like the refund, and he'd like it fairly soon, and he didn't appreciate getting a standard email that was a bit wise-ass anyway, and that he knew his home address and this wasn't a very wise way to conduct business. He said the guys voice started trembling as he offered the refund and asked how he'd like it sending

To be honest you'd have to be a plank to buy a 'link' anyway. If you read the whole description it always says please not you are bidding for a website link to get a phone for £20. Some people are too quick to bid

Pyramid scheme type of thing I think.

You pay the 20 quid and wait until a few more people do.
