HIC dont charge for mods to a cartain value.

there are a few around that dont charge, but norwich union charged me for new rear lights pfffft

How much cause the last time i heard they charge you 10% for each mod?

cis were best 4 me, dearer than insuring a standard car, obviously. but no-one could get near cis' quote 4 a modded car.

aye im with LV (liverpool victoria and i have put wheels (17") ,zorst private plate on and its lowered 30-40 mm with NO charge whatso ever shame the bastards dont do engine conversion's!!!

Im with HIC and im covered up to £1500 worth of mods at no extra charge. They were also cheaper than anyone else. Even Direct Line, Norwich Union etc. were more expensive and they dont let u modify your car either!

Direct Line let you modify your car, but you have to ring them up to tell them about the mods.

admiral charged me about £200 on my Gsi "B" for 2litre spec brakes, exterior and interior decorative mods, exhaust, and induction kit.. they let you have upto 6 mods after which i think they start charging loads!! but im not sure

AFAIK Churchill do charge..

and my price is crap and i insure with em!

I told em my corsa was going to av Alloys and the price like went £100 up!!

Ask em b4 commiting to an insurer!

i found it cheaper to go with another company and add them than too get one that includes them, ie liv vic £650 inc mods, elephant £302 exc mods

Adrian flux only charged me 90quid for engine conversion with unichip and velos!!

for 'decorative' mods i dont think they increase it as long as you have receipts and photos of the work
